Biography
Born in 1976 in Kharkiv, Ukraine, Iryna Vozianova has been drawn to visual expression from an early age. From childhood sketches to later formal studies, art has always been a way to connect with the world around her.
She received her first artistic training at the Kharkiv Municipal Art School, followed by explorations in fashion design during secondary school. After moving to the Netherlands, she continued her education at a private vocational school in Haarlem, where she followed a skill-based program in realistic drawing and painting at an academic level. This classical training laid the foundation for her current practice in watercolour, a medium she values for its transparency, spontaneity, and ability to capture atmosphere.

Her subjects often include landscapes, water, and seasonal changes in nature, as well as still lifes and botanical studies. She works in both realistic and semi-impressionistic styles, seeking to balance precision with a sense of mood and movement.
Since 2022, Iryna has been active in the Dutch and international watercolour community as a member of IWS Holland. In 2024 she joined the board, where she contributes to exhibitions, communications, and community projects. Her work has been shown in group exhibitions in the Netherlands and abroad, connecting her with a growing network of artists and audiences.
Alongside her own painting, she also enjoys teaching workshops, where she shares her approach to technique and creative process. Teaching has become an important way for her to exchange ideas and to inspire others to explore watercolour in their own way.
