Biography

Born in April 1976 in Kharkiv, Ukraine, Irina has always been passionate about art. As a child, she spent much time at the art studio owned by the husband of her babysitter. She learned how to express her feelings and thoughts through art even if it was a very opportunistic graffiti on a wall of her parents' apartment:)

Later Irina joined Kharkiv Municipal Art School where she learned drawing, painting techniques, and art history. In her secondary school years, she also committed herself to fashion design, creating apparel pieces for herself and also her friends and family.

After moving to The Netherlands Irina decided to continue her art journey and followed academic skill-based education in realistic drawing and painting at a private vocational school in Haarlem.

​

Starting from May 2022 she has been a member of IWS Holland creating most of her art pieces in watercolour technique.
